Iraq suffers from an acute shortage of electricity in an environment where the
heat index can exceed 50 centigrade, and cut off electricity totaling upwards of 18 hours per day in most of Iraqi provinces.

Michigan, Illinois, Texas and across the Mid-Atlantic up through the Northeast, high temperatures and humidity are pushing the
heat index well above 37C (100F).

The
heat index should be accounted for on each training day and followed-up with the appropriate measures when necessary.
According to the DOE, "It's not the heat; it's the humidity." Moisture from a humidifier will increase the "
heat index," making 68 degrees feel like 76.
The injunction directed the prison to provide fans, ice water, and daily showers when the
heat index was 90 degrees or above, or to make such arrangements from May through September.
In a recent study published by research firm TheInfoPro, the firm's Technology
Heat Index showed that disk-to-disk backup, replication management, and policy-based management all ranked in the company's top 10 "hottest" technologies.
